Family Feasts #2

A couple weeks ago we decided it was time to try to use our Ox gift card again (last time we went on an adult date they comped too much for use to use the gift card and feel good about it.)
We got there nice and early so we pretty much had pick of the place. Turns out they have a lovely new atrium space which was perfect for enjoying the amazing May weather we have been having.
Mommy & Daddy needed a couple of drinks...

Amuse Bouche - tiny soup in a tiny cup. I can't remember what the flavor was, but it was divine.
The kitchen sent out a grilled artichoke. YUM!
One of Daddy's seafood dishes with octopus. After this we started scarfing down all the food and I missed pictures. There was so much food, too much food. But we managed to kill most of it.
The boys made major strides in tastes at this meal. Oliver found out that he loves crab. Henri loved the octopus and was asking for tastes of everything.
The food is always great here and the staff friendly. You can tell why they get so much recognition in the PDX food world.

13/52 - Easter.

Really no words for these. Just enjoy the moments of sweetness.

This weekend was Granny Nanny's birthday and we had a Chaney Family retreat up to a cabin in Zig Zag. Even though it was only 1 night, and a lot of driving, we all had a blast. We found some snow and had snow ball fights in the rain.

Thick as thieves these two are. Both insist on getting color in their hair now when they get it cut. I wonder where they could have ever gotten that idea....
Hubs actually got a Saturday off and we spend it wine tasting with Gramma & Poppa Rick. At Scott Paul, they we introduced to View-masters. It kept them busy for quite some time.

This week the nanny treated the boys to ice cream after school. I think they might have liked it.
