This weekend was Granny Nanny's birthday and we had a Chaney Family retreat up to a cabin in Zig Zag. Even though it was only 1 night, and a lot of driving, we all had a blast. We found some snow and had snow ball fights in the rain.

Thick as thieves these two are. Both insist on getting color in their hair now when they get it cut. I wonder where they could have ever gotten that idea.... 

Hubs actually got a Saturday off and we spend it wine tasting with Gramma & Poppa Rick. At Scott Paul, they we introduced to View-masters. It kept them busy for quite some time.

This week the nanny treated the boys to ice cream after school. I think they might have liked it.

Twofer. This week was Valentine's Day. It was the first year that the boys really got what was going on. Actually, ever since Halloween, there has been more awareness about the holidays. Discussions. Planning & projects.
 I love both of these images. Sometimes you get one and you just know it's good.

Shockingly. I don't have pictures of my boys for these 2 weeks. Well i have a couple, but they are dark and grainy or just not right. So week 5 will be a bye.

I figure for week 6, i'll turn the tables on myself & the hubs with portraits taken by our own Henri at one of our fav spots in town, Lardo West.

(i'm most likely going to get in trouble for posting the above. But he's my mountain man.)

Week number 4 is featuring only 1 child. I can't believe I have a week without at least one picture of Oliver. Here Henri is posing in a lilac with his bow tie. This boy loves a good bow tie.

52 - A Portrait A Week

I heard of this from the lovely Andrea over at bookscout (and wife of Chef Aaron of St. Jack) and felt compelled to join as well. Seeing as I haven't posted in over a year, I figure I can handle at least 1 a week with pictures of my boys. Hopefully I can find time for a little caption as well. Since I just downloaded the blog app for my phone, this should be a piece of cake. I'm going to have to fit in quit a few at first to get caught up...what week are we in now?
