(i was going to post this Friday with the addition of photos, but i have yet to find the time to edit them. so you will have to wait!)
Henri will be 1 year old(!) in less than 2 weeks. Holy Moley, where did time go?
If you remember, there were some concerns about him maybe having issues with his leg lengths/hips and some concern over his development of his gross motor skills. Little Man checked out with a Pediatric Orthopedic Doc a couple of months back and was dubbed, perfect. Just a little roll on one leg instead of the other, which is often the case with Giant babies....
We had concerns about him not crawling, which he started doing at about 10 months (a tummy on the floor Army style crawl...) Our Pediatrician referred us to the county who has a program to help babies that are behind in development. Monday, Graham took the boys to Henri's assessment and he was deemed perfect once again. (well, he is a little behind on gross motor skills, but he isn't in a danger zone.) He even tested at the top for fine motor skill in his age group. We were given 14 & 16 month questionnaires to go through with him at those ages to make sure he is on track. He loves standing and walking either along the furniture or while holding someone's fingers, he will pull you all around the house if given the chance.
Today he is going to start on Whole Milk. We saw no need to go buy another can of formula when he is going to be 1 in a week. Not sure how THAT one is going today at home...
Party planning is in full swing. Invitations are going out today and tomorrow. I am excited for his party and yet sad that my baby is soon going to be a toddler...

Just got the invite! We will be in Salem this weekend for my niece's b-day party so we will try and stop on our way through Portland. Joe will be biking so may just be me and the girls but would love to see you. I'll text you when I know more about timing. Can't believe he is 1!!
