Next we headed out to the Portland Farmer's Market. Saturdays are the Big day with the most vendors. Graham is like a kid in a candy store and we came home with enough veggies to fill the entire fridge. The one score item we got was Strawberries! It is the highlight of our year, such a short window of availability but totally worth it.We had been planning to head down to the Waterfront to see all of the ships, but only the 2 tall ships were in and we decided it wasn't the hassel. (Graham, Oliver & myself will head down Wednesday or Thursday morning to see ALL the ships.) Since that plan was out the window we headed over to Vinepolis to check out their current selection and came home with a bottle of Belle Pente 2006 Cuvee Contraire - Rose. Yum.

After the wine shop it was time for lunch, so we walked a couple blocks up to Maya's Taqueria. As we were waiting in line, Oliver fell asleep in his Daddy's arms. We sat outside and did some baby shuffling so that we could eat and not disturb him. The food was so good, Graham has been missing really great tacos since we moved back (San Fran. has AMAZING mexican food) He even said that his Carnitas tacos were Better than our favorite taco place in Pacifica. Needless to say, he was a very happy boy! Gramma & Papa Rick were also in Heaven and they were all swooning over their 8 carnitas tacos...

After lunch we got the car and moved over to the Pearl. We walked over to Olea to show Mom & Rick where Graham worked and then we headed toward Fenouil and another wine shop. Mom and I spotted a great baby/mama shop that I had passed by before and couldn't resist going in...We spent so much time in there ooing and aahing over everything that G left for work. Gramma wanted to get her boy 1 thing...it ended up being 5! I decided on a rashgard and trunks, but he also needed a sun hat as he hates sunglasses and the sun in his eyes! He also now has his very Posh wedding attire for Marci and Chad's wedding next month.
We made a quick stop off to visit Daddy at work to show off the goodies and get the little man a bottle, then it was back home. O was very worn out and didn't get a long enough nap so lucky for me, he took a nice long 3 hour nap when we got home and I even got to squeeze a little one in myself! (the previous night he woke up at 1am and didn't go back to sleep until 5am!)It was a really nice day and it was so nice to visit and get out to enjoy the beautiful weather.
